The second half went back and forth resulting in an Elans shot off of the cross bar in the 90th minute followed by a strong shot stopped by Huskies netminder Luke Arthur, to keep the game tied at zero.
The game was decided in penalty kicks when the sixth shooter for the Elans, Thomas St-Maurice, drilled the ball to the back of the net after Austin Pike of the Huskies shot off the post.
The Elans will go on to face NAIT Ooks to compete for the bronze medal of the tournament on Saturday.
