Career Centre

Learn more about the Sheridan College Carrier Center, and get on the right way to the future!

What happens after graduation? Trying to find a job. What if a student needs help with that?

The Sheridan Career Centre provides one-on-one counselling to help students prepare for their future.

One-on-one appointments with a guidance counsellor help a student prepare for their future career. Counsellors help students by improving resumes or portfolios, using online resources such as LinkedIn, helping students switch their programs to something that suits them more, and exploring career options.

The Career Centre also assists with finding work for students and graduates. These services include job searches and holding career events, with booths for businesses that are hiring.

Students can also find out more about the Career Centre’s services online at the Sheridan site,  It has all of the information about the centre, and also offers guides to certain things, such as building an online portfolio.

Students can book appointments with the guidance counsellors during the office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
