Blue Jays pre-game ceremony awards Sheridan students

Before the opening pitch between the Toronto Blue Jays and Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday at the Rogers Centre, two of Sheridan’s Athletic Therapy students were presented with prestigious awards for their scholarly achievements.

The ceremony was dedicated to fourth year Athletic Therapy students Jason Amadio and Tommy Kratky. Amadio was given the Dr. Taylor award for dedicated commitment and interest in extra-curricular activities outside of school. Kratky got to spend the entire season with the Jays as an intern AT to trainers George Poulis and Michael Frostad. Acting as a third pair of hands, Kratky was required to assist trainers during home games and season set up.
